Storm Water Management

Located in the back corner of the community, is a storm water management pond. This pond was installed to collect all the rain water, melted snow and anything else that happens to go down the storm drain. The inside of the fence is no trespassing and anyone caught inside the fence line will be prosecuted.

Please make sure that you throw all of your trash away in a proper receptacle.  Trash that is thrown on the ground, goes into the storm drain and ultimately ends up in this pond.

This pond also happens to be home to many different species wildlife, including turtles and birds. Back in 2013, Cromwell Fountain Open Space purchased 6 bat houses to have installed around the pond to try to act as a natural mosquito control.

If anyone has any wildlife photos in the pond and would like to showcase them, please submit your photos to Jeremy@pinnacle-md.com, and he will get them up as soon as possible.  Anyone caught on the inside of the fence line will be considered trespassing.
